AN OPERA SINGER
FROM ISTANBUL
I was born in Istanbul on July 16th, 1992, and started my music education with cello when I was 13 years old. In 2010, I enrolled in a part-time singing program at Istanbul University State Conservatory, which lasted for one year. Then, in 2011, I was accepted into the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory Performing Arts Department Opera Department, where I graduated from. During my studies, I participated in various orchestral choirs.
In 2012, I completed the A2 education course at Galatasaray University's German Course Program, and I received piano education from Dr. Nurtap Sümer at the Conservatory. Additionally, I attended seminars on "Anatomy of the Voice" by Opr. Dr. Melih Ömür and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ömür in 2012, which lasted for one year.
I have studied German, Italian, and Ballroom-Latin-Spanish dances, as well as stage techniques such as improvisation, dramaturgy, sound and lighting, and stage make-up. I have also worked as a musical voice actor for various film and television projects, and acted in several short film projects. In 2017, i participated in Francisco Araiza’s masterclass programme and performed in FH Campus Vienna. In 2019, I participated in the Süreyya Opera Young Talents Concert.
Currently, I am continuing my music career as a composer, vocal coach, and music producer.
